Linear Projects has revealed a positive start to the year with three new contracts, building on a strongly established reputation in the education sector.
In Edinburgh, the team has been appointed by Morgan Sindall on the new Broomhills Primary School in the south of the city. This includes the supply and installation of the Steel Framing System in partnership with Metsec, and also Siniat Weather Defence board and Kingspan Insulation.
Moving to Stirling, Robertson have appointed Linear Projects to fulfil two phases of interior fit out work, focusing on their specialist joinery expertise, as part of the overall multi-million pound campus transformation at The University of Stirling. This work will see the use of high-end timber finishes, including a hardwood veneered wall and ceiling panels. In addition, the team will install SAS ceilings, BG partitions and fire protection.
Finally in Glasgow, the team will deliver the partitions and ceilings packages on the new Research Hub project within the University of Glasgow Campus. This new £113m building being constructed by Multiplex, is set to house diverse teams and create opportunities for cross-disciplinary working. This follows the successful work by Linear on the Learning and Teaching Hub.
Commenting on the positive start to 2020, Stephen Holmes, CEO of Linear Group, said, “We are delighted to get off to such a great start in 2020 and are confident in building on this as we look ahead to the rest of the year. It is clear that our extensive work in the education sector continues to stand us in good stead and these project wins confirm the strength of our reputation and relationships in this field.”
