Linear Group boost health and safety credentials with addition of expert.

As part of its ongoing commitment to investing in talent, Linear Group has appointed Garry Willis as Health, Safety & Environmental Manager.

Garry brings over 20 years’ experience of health and safety, to enhance this specialist area of expertise and hands-on knowledge.

A proven innovator and leader in his field, Garry has an impressive range of qualifications including NEBOSH Diploma, OHSAS 18001:2007 Lead Auditor, Mental Health Instructor, IOSH Fire Risk Assessor and NLP Practitioner.  He has successfully developed training and coaching programmes, alongside the effective implementation of safety management systems.

Working previously for Stewart Milne Group and Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions, Garry’s extensive understanding of construction management; its needs, challenges and diversity, ensures the highest standards of health and safety capability for the Group.  He displays an unwavering approach to any challenge, taking on the toughest tasks to drive for the optimal outcome.

At Linear Group, Garry’s role is to nurture, develop and promote compliance, achieve excellence through a strong health and safety culture and coach colleagues to ensure the right solution every time. As part of this, Garry will oversee the development and implementation of the full safety management systems to ISO 450001:2018, as well as utilise his main contracting experience and insight to assist the ongoing development of Linear Design & Construct.
