New Makers Yard

New Maker Yards brings together the best of two cities, being situated at Middlewood Locks, a growing neighbourhood by the canal basin on the old Salford-Manchester border.  Comprising prime residential rental properties, alongside a range of high quality amenities, including independent bars, restaurants and shops as well as a new co-working space, this is a contemporary, state of the art development.

The team at LDC Manchester were appointed to deliver a new coffee shop within the development for the enjoyment of the growing community.  The project included all key aspects of the construction to create a comprehensive package, beginning with the removal of existing WCs, preparation of a base build slab and removal of an external area of existing soft landscaping.  Following this stage of works, the team delivered new elements including screed, external signage, internal walls, partitions and drylining, internal doors, wall and floor finishes and skirtings, ceiling finishes, FF&E including extensive joinery works, sanitary, installations, M&E and plumbing works.  Finally, the team fulfilled some external landscape works.

The project was completed within 8 weeks
