Linear Projects supports expansion of Clydebank’s Golden Jubilee Hospital

With a strong track record in healthcare projects, Linear Projects has been awarded a £1.4M comprehensive package for new build extension at Clydebank’s Golden Jubilee National Hospital, by Kier Scotland on behalf of NHS Scotland.

As part of the Scottish Government’s significant investment to meet demand for elective procedures over the next 10 years, NHS Golden Jubilee in Clydebank is set to expand its services to treat more patients than ever before. 

This will include the construction of a Surgical Centre, a new build three-storey extension, located adjacent to the front entrance of the Hospital.  The new state of the art facility will provide an additional five Orthopaedic theatres, five Endoscopy procedure rooms, an expanded Central Sterilisation Processing Department and support facilities  

Gareth Holmes, Director, Linear Projects, said, “This is a significant investment by the Scottish Government and one which will make a material difference to provision in the west of Scotland.  We are delighted that our appointment to this project reflects the strength of our offer and experience within the health sector and our confident that we will deliver the  full package with the professionalism and quality which defines our approach.”

Currently on site, the team at Linear Projects are delivering a package including the internal partitions, bulkheads, insulation, and wall linings over 3 floors and 8,000 m² with completion in July.
