As part of his training, Daniel is studying for NQ in Built Environment at the City of Glasgow College which sees him attending 1 day a week.

When he’s not training for his new career, Daniel is undertaking a different kind of training as he is a black belt, level 2nddan in Taekwondo.  As well as winning Gold in the European Taekwondo Championships in 2018, he has won several Scottish and British golds during his competitive career and continues progress at this high level.

From competitions in the UK and Europe, Daniel is now looking forward to travelling Stateside in 2020 for the Inter-Atlantic Championship in Louisiana as well as focusing on achieving his 3rddan.

To compete at this level requires a big commitment, but it also helps to motivate and drive Daniel to keep on top of his workload to make sure he can get his tasks done and also make it to training!

Commenting on this, Daniel said, “The best thing about Linear is the support and positivity you receive, everyone is willing to help you no matter what. The experience and knowledge of Linear employees is amazing and makes it easy for a trainee to learn when you are surrounded with these types of people.”
