The team at LDC Scotland have recently completed one of their longest running and largest projects as it builds on his reputation as a multi-faceted, skilled contractor.
Work on Caledonia Park (formerly Gretna Gateway Outlet Village) Scotland’s premier designer destination began in 2020 and has consisted of three distinct phases of work. The project kicked off with the full refurbishment and new build extension of the outdoor retail units. This included new shop fronts with timber cladding and timber structure, new timber windows and doors as well as public realm works. The third and final phase has seen three new build extensions to the front of the mall increasing the size to meet consumer demand. Each phase has been completed within an operational environment, therefore the segregation of the works from the public and retail shoppers has been paramount.
Commenting on the completion and handover of this significant project, Ryan Broadley, Managing Director of LDC Scotland said, “The handover of Caledonia Park represents a milestone for the team as this is one of our longest running and most high profile jobs to date. To see the development come together is a proud moment for the team, especially given the project was delivered whilst the full retail park was live With this work, we’ve had the opportunity to showcase our knowledge, skill and expertise and work with great partners to achieve the optimal result.”
