Lothian Buses

In early 2018, Lothian, the UK’s largest municipal transport operator that runs bus services across the city and beyond across the Lothian region, acquired 49 Shandwick Place in Edinburgh with a vision to transform it into its flagship customer experience and Travel Centre.

The new state of the art centre was set to become the focal point for all bus service provision to both local customers and visitors plus also ensuring a high quality facility for staff.

Linear Design & Construct were appointed Principal Contractor by Lothian and Graham & Sibbald to deliver a comprehensive fit out and refurbishment to the 9,140 square foot property. Working collaboratively with the design team, LDC completed the 18 week Fast Track programme of work, whilst ensuring the highest levels of quality and professionalism.
