New College focuses on ‘Work Hard, Aspire and Achieve’ ethos.
An 11-19 Community Comprehensive with Specialist School Status, the new state of the art college opened in September 2011.
The building provided accessible and modern learning, with a range of new facilities included dedicated Learning Resource Centre, two Drama and Music Suites, practice rooms and editing studio, a range of ICT rooms with the latest cutting edge technology, five science laboratories and learning zones and a community-use sports hall.
Working closely with Aedas and long term client Laing O’ Rourke, we successfully secured and delivered the joinery package consisting of perforated timber acoustic panelling, solid oak stairs, high rating acoustic and fire door sets with various finishes, timber glazed screens with integrated blinds and doors meeting the high acoustic performance requirements.
