New Scottish HQ for leading energy firm, OVO Energy
Leading green energy supplier OVO Energy appointed LDC to undertake the internal fit out of 4 floors of its new OVO Energy Scottish headquarters, one of Scotland's most sustainable office developments and the city’s first office building that is Net Zero Carbon in operation. Representing over a third of the space within the 95,000 sq ft Cadworks building in Glasgow city centre. The team at LDC worked across 33,905 sq ft spanning the ground, first, second and third floors within the Cadogan Street development. The works involved installing internal stairs, internal walls, internal doors and internal finishes, alongside mechanical, electrical and FF&E installations.
The project was successfully managed avoiding causing any disruption to the live floors within the building and involved the careful coordination of a thorough stakeholder engagement plan for the neighbouring buildings within the busy city centre environment to ensure no disturbance to their day to day operations.
The team worked meticulously during the project to plan and programme the tight and complex site logistics to ensure minimal disruption to the live working environment.
The project was completed on time and handed over with zero defects.
