LDC Scotland implements fit out of ten new retails units at Edinburgh's St James Quarter

Following the opening of Edinburgh’s St James Quarter, LDC was awarded the fit out of 10 new retail units within the development.

On behalf of Nuveen Real Estate, working collaboratively with the design team of BDP Architects, Gardiner and Theobald and Cundalls, the LDC team have delivered 10 new structural shopfronts and entrance doors of various designs for the units. 

All of the new units will have comprehensive MEP installations that tie into the shopping galleria infrastructure services. Floor construction and coverings have been fitted to suit the individual tenants’ requirements. 

Stephen Holmes, CEO of Linear Group said, “Edinburgh’s St James Quarter is a landmark project for Scotland’s Capital and one which Linear, as a group, has been involved in since its inception so we are delighted to have extended our scope through LDC.   This win demonstrates the value of our collective skills to large scale projects and highlights the expertise we offer within our principal contractor business.”
