1993

John Holmes Contractors established as a labour only company with 20 tradesmen, offering dry lining and suspended ceilings.

2008

Business moves to a new office in Queenslie, Glasgow and expansion heads across the Border with the opening of a new Manchester office.  On the staff front, Gareth Holmes, Dale Zahra and Tommy Steele are appointed as Directors and tradesmen numbers increase to 150.

2003

Business evolves into Linear Projects and takes on first supply and fit project.

December 2020

Linear Building Compliance launches and becomes part of Linear Group, with Andrew Shankland moving in to the role of Managing Director.
